New info and pictures showing the crane movement from Anderson Quarry (MP 12.0) to Rion (MP 4.5) by truck will be added soon.

The Museum has purchased a 1947 locomotive crane to be used for track maintenance. The crane has a lift capacity from 15 tons at a 12' radius to 4 tons at a 50' radius. It is in surprisingly good condition for its age. The main engine runs well and the air compressor has been rebuilt. It is self propelled with the two inner axels powered and now moves under its own power.
