Rion Yard Project - 2004 TEA-21 Grant

The Museum was awarded a TEA-21 grant for 2004. The work for this grant, which started in late January, was used to start building Rion Yard. The old mainline track in the yard was re-installed, the West Rion switch was be rebuilt, part of the mainline in this area was tampled and aligned along with three new switches installed at the east end of Rion Yard. This work was completed by mid-May 2005.
