Located at 110 Industrial Park Road, Winnsboro, SC 29180, we feature an hour long train ride with 5 miles operating track, a gift shop featuring unique tailroad items, a Gallery with historic pictures and artifacts, a walk though display train, plenty of rolling stock and more!

Parking is free and in front of the museum, with picnic tables and benches for guests to bring a lunch or purchase snacks and drinks from our gift shop.

Accessible to persons with disabilities, we offer wheelchair ramps, handicap accessible restrooms, and a train loading platform.

Take I-77 south to Exit 34 (SC HWY 34). Turn right at the bottom of the ramp. Follow SC HWY 34 about 5 miles and then turn left at the steam locomotive. The Museum is on the right.

From Camden, SC and the East

Take I-20 west to Columbia and then take I-77 north towards Charlotte, NC. Take Exit 34 (SC HWY 34). Turn left at the bottom of the ramp. Follow SC HWY 34 about 5 miles and then turn left at the steam locomotive. The Museum is on the right.

From South East Columbia

Take I-77 north towards Charlotte, NC to Exit 34 (SC HWY 34). Turn left at the bottom of the ramp. Follow SC HWY 34 about 5 miles and then turn left at the steam locomotive. The Museum is on the right.

From Downtown Columbia Area

Take US HWY 321 north to Winnsboro. At the Guardian Plant (on the left) the road goes back to four lanes. Make a right just past the plant onto Industrial Park Road. The Museum is on the left at the end of the road.

From Orangeburg, Charleston and areas South of Columbia

Take I-26 east to Columbia. Then take I-77 north towards Charlotte, NC to Exit 34 (SC HWY 34). Turn left at the bottom of the ramp. Follow SC HWY 34 about 5 miles and then turn left at the steam locomotive. The Museum is on the right.

From Newberry, Clinton, Spartenburg and Greenville Areas

Take I-26 to Exit 74 (SC HWY 34). Turn left onto SC HWY 34. Follow SC HWY 34 to Winnsboro. At the SC HWY 34 and US HWY 321 intersection, turn right on US HWY 321 south. Proceed south around Winnsboro and then turn left onto SC HWY 34 and take the next right, just past the steam locomotive. The Museum on the right.

From Aiken, SC, and Augusta, GA and areas West

Take I-20 to Exit 70 (Fairfield Rd. US HWY 321). Turn left onto US HWY 321 north to Winnsboro. At the Guardian Plant (on the left) the road goes back to four lanes. Make a right just past the plant onto Industrial Park Road. The Museum is on the left at the end of the road.
